Traverse City has been honored again as a top place to live, this time by 24/7 Wall St, which named Traverse City one of America's Best Places to Live. Traverse City was cited as a top city based on its affordability, economy, standard of living, and community among other factors.
This distinction marks just the latest accolade for the area, which has been gaining increasing national attention in recent years. In just the last 5 years, Traverse City has been lauded as a top city/town/destination by nearly 100 national publications, including USA Today, Travel Channel, Country Living, Vogue, Architectural Digest, and Conde Nast Traveler.
On this occasion, Traverse City was specifically cited for its high availability of recreational opportunities as well as its concentration of restaurants and wineries.
